Senior Showcase

Align Center
Now, don't start to watch this unless you have TIME...we had to create 9 minutes of substantial choreography as graduating seniors, and have been presenting it at our Senior Showcase Concert called ".MOVING.CONNECTING.BECOMING." Tonight was opening night, and we have two more nights. Enjoy!

And some more updates... I bought myself a graduation present today! I have never owned any UVSC apparel, and I thought as a graduate of this school, I ought to display my pride from graduating here.
A quick shot of the new Latin Medley at this Spring's concert. I should have more pictures later, when I get in touch with the photographer personally...
Uh, the cutest girl ever...sorry, i just had to throw in this quick shot of Mia that I took while we were in St George for dance...

Bed-Jumping Olympics!!!!! The girls had been itching to jump on the beds all weekend, but of course their parents said no (any parents would!)...So it was up to Jenica and I as the babysitters to encourage as much jumping as possible. There are some hilarious pictures, but for now this will have to do...

I saw this in real life tonight and the footage here - even with how wonderful it is - does not do it justice! The emotion is unreal (and I don't even understand Spanish!) and the power from the choreography tranformed into the performance is tearful! I knew just from the dance that the song was about something tearing the dancers up. After Tere explained the words to me, I really wanted to see it all over again and cry! Giselle - you are the best and I am so proud of you and all your hard work! I think I'll come again tomorrow night - imagine that!
