So, I went up to Kamas today to teach a couple private lessons during the break in conference, and it started snowing like crazy! When I came back upstairs, Billie Jo had gotten the new sizes of winter clothes out of storage for the girls, and they were heading outside.
When we looked outside a few minutes later, Ellie and Tess were rolling a snowball that was taller than Mia around the yard! It was the perfect packing snow, and they were having so much fun that Tim and I decided to join them. Billie Jo snapped the photos, and here are the results! Tim and the girls made the snowman, and I jumped in with the dog, and the girls helped me out.
If you were ever missing Kamas, Allen, I'd guess that this would be one of those times. I love it here--it's so beautiful and quiet. Enjoy the pictures!

Wow! Pretty talented snow makers--I'm impressed with the dogman! Dad and I were not having quite as much fun in the snow as you guys??? What a beautiful world!
I am very jealous of the fun! I am quite behind on commenting, as I have been a little pre-occupied trying to have a baby--but clearly I have not been successful! That looks like SO MUCH FUN! I am glad that you are now going to keep us up to date on the Butikofer girls--I have missed seeing pictures of them!
Why...why do you insist on making me sad. I want to be there building a snowdog (or dogman if you prefer). Thanks for the pictures of those girls. I was forgetting what they looked like with someone's blog being M.I.A.
I can't believe how much snow they got in Kamas today. We didn't get anything but rain here in Heber. That is why Curtis thinks we are going to settle in Kamas! Good job on the dogman!
Looking at the pictures, I realize that I re-created Bear all wrong! He only had a nub for a tail! Oops...oh well, not bad for my first ever attempt at making such a thing...
I can't believe how much that little tess looks like baby giselle. it might be a mix between giselle as a little girl or chelsea. what cute pics! We had our windows open and allen mowed the lawn today. But it is FREEZING now... (68)
Freezing? Ha! Noah turned the A/C off and the heater on today! How's that for freezing?
This is great info to know.
