Christmas Spirit

Well, when I got home from school today, I decided it was time to get the Christmas tree set up. I had forgotten how much I like my brown and gold ornaments I got at Tai Pan last year...

I also got started wrapping presents. So far, there are 5 for Noah from me, plus one each for Mia, Jack, Landon, Luke, and Noah G. Oh yeah, and one for me, but it's not wrapped, 'cause it's a big old fabric cutting board thing that was pretty impossible to wrap. Man, Noah is good at picking out exactly what I want, isn't he?

Mom gave me these little votive holders last year...

More Tai Pan goodies from last year...

The "Believe" sign Anissa gave me last year goes perfectly on the shelf in my kitchen. I want photos of everyone's decorations and presents as they go up, okay???

Love it, love it love it! I have been trying to get mine out today, but its going slowly with Jack! Max is out on the roof right now putting up lights, so as soon as we get something presentable, we'll put some pictures up. Your house looks wonderful, and Jack said he can't wait to open up his present.

Wonderful pictures! It all looks beautiful and festive! As soon as Rob and I get our blood work done for the study on autism, we have our incorporation meeting tonight, our Impact meeting tomorrow night, I work Wednesday and Thursday, take Mom to the doctor Friday and go to a meeting to arrange the instrumentals for the stake choir -- maybe I can think about decor on Saturday! I HOPE!!! Love it that you are eager and in such a holiday mood! The Christmas lights around the Valley look so good and are inspiriting to get going! I'll put it in my planner!

Wow, Mom...I find myself being so much like you, but I want to train myself to slow down a bit. I hope you make it through your week with enough energy to decorate your house...

Chels, I know Jack is excited. He had already text me before he even said anything to you...:)

Great job on your tree Giselle! I am very impressed. I can't believe you already have presents wrapped. I have been trying all weekend to just get my tree up and all my decorations out! It was a lot easier when I didn't have a little helper following me around taking down everything I put up!

Giselly, I can't believe I missed my opportunity to be first to comment on your blog! I feel tired just thinking about decorating... Hopefully we'll have time soon. It looks beautiful!

ok I thought I was doing good getting my tree and then I was really excited when I got it decorated. So I was so happy with myself and I look at your blog and see presents. I am behind. I don't even have presents to wrap. Great job on your tree it looks beautiful and I am really impressed you have your presents wraped. And maybe I can get some pictures up on my blog with my tree decorated so I can feel good about that! Thanks for the encouragement.

Looks beautiful. Isn't it fun decorating your own house now! Did you hear about Olivia taking a nose dive into our Christmas tree? She kept messing with one ornament so Nik put it up high. She climbed onto the couch and I heard her say, "I can't reach it." then fell right into our tree. She has scratches on her face, but she is OK! Our tree got the worst of it.ha

Ha ha...leave it to Nik's daughter to be a kamikaze! Everytime I think about Nik jumping out of that window and Noah helping him, I get scared to have children. Is there no hope for a calm, safe, non-crazy child with one of those two as the dad? Glad to hear that she wasn't as beat up as the tree... Love you guys! Can't wait to see you!

I think you are about 13 Christmas trees away from being like mom, but I do love your decorations. I am so embarrassed that mine are not up yet. I am usually begging Patrice to let me put them up before Thanksgiving.

Chip off the 'ol block!!! You are the perfect little wife!!! I keep thinking that you are going to have a bad day but you always are so positive and get everything done! I love the decor and the matching paper. What you need is a little one on one time with Mia to test your true Christmas spirit!

I'll take all the one-on-one time with that little angel as I can! I should actually just take a picture of her and put it at the top of my tree, since she already wears a halo in my eyes! How can you say she's a monster????
