First Looks!

Well, I was sad because I left my camera in Utah and am waiting for it to be shipped to me!!! I didn't think I'd have anything to post for a while, but today Noah and I went to the doctor for the first time. We were surprised by having an ultrasound (I didn't know if this Dr did one or not...) and so we have a little surprise for you. Here is our first peek and yours at Baby Rasheta! It's just about an inch long, so they gave me a due date of March 10th!!! We found out quite a few friends are having babies around the same time, so we are really excited!!!If you can't tell, the head is on the right with the little legs o the left... what a cute little grape, huh???

aaaaaahhhhh! So cute! It is exciting to have an ultrasound this early and see what a miracle it truly is. Its amazing that something that starts out of literally cells can turn into something so amazing as a little baby! That's why its called the miracle of life! I am dying to see all of the pictures you took, especially of me wakeboarding, so please please e-mail them asap!

Oh my! I have to read your blog to get news, as your lost your phone -- I guess! Cute little grandchild Rasheta! This is really Mom -- not Olivia!

sooo cool. I think it is a girl! See if I can guess yours as good as I guessed mine!

Okay - this is Mom again and I can't even understand what I said in my last comment -- I don't even know what I was trying to say, except that my last phone call to you was a bust because you were sooooo sleepy! The cashew looks very cute and I'm thinking "it" is a girl as well! I don't know why, just guessing! Baby Rasheta looks very cute!

Oh people...I can't decide whether I want you to keep guessing girl or not!!! Don't get my hopes up too much!!! (But it makes me very pleased to hear your guesses :) Any other guesses?

*Disclaimer: I will be so happy with whichever we get, but I definitely am wanting baby #1 to be a girl...as I always tell Noah--I GET girls! I really don't get boys, and can think of very few little boys who actually like me, haha...

I don't think I told you congrats when I saw you so.....Congrats! I think March is the very best time to have a new baby. It's spring, everything is new and RSV season is ending. My guess is a boy because apparently unless you live on the south side of country lane you get boys!

Oh yay, I love your little grape already! And I'm not guessing, I will wait for the real deal. Are you going to find out? I called Noah to get your address to send you a book for your pregnancy but Noah said you already had it. So, I'm still looking for something exciting to send you. Love that little Rasheta baby already!

Robbin, in case you forgot, I basically did live on the south side of country lane for a few months (or at least spent most of my time there). In fact, it was after spending two weeks straight in country lane and returning home that I found out I was pregnant. Does that count at least a little bit? Ha ha...

OMG you forgot to tell me the details when you called about the movie. Robbi, Olivia, and I were going to head out tonight but the fathers of Country Lane ended up MIA and that doesn't mean they had here with them. I am not going to guess and I will be SOOOO dissappointed if you find out what it is... it is such a reward to wait!

I agree with Billie Jo on waiting to find out. It really is fun to have a baby and then they say it is a....
It is a little harder to prepare but, it is so worth it!!! I am not guessing either, I actually thought both my girls were boys so I am bad at guessing. I do love the ultasound picture!!!

Giselle-
I can't believe you are prego.! That's great! Congratulations! You are definitely in for a ride. Hope everything goes well for you. P.s. March is a great time to have a baby. My bday is in March and I love it. Perfect timing. You'll get to be pregnant through the winter... and that is a blessing.
Congrats again. Hope all is well.
Love ya-
Kaitlin

Isn't it amazing that even when your little baby is the size of a grape it has a heartbeat and the beginning of arms and legs. It is just a miracle. I know that you want a girl, but I think that a boy would be great because he would have Jack, Evan, and Eli to pal around with. You've always said that one reason you want to have a baby now is so that your kids can have cousins close in age. Well, the cousins close in age to this one are boys! How much fun would little girl Rashetta have with those three big boy cousins!

Giselle Rasheta said...

Good point...that's the best reason I've heard for why I should want a boy. Keep the guesses coming!

How fun. I think the first pregnancy is so exciting! Everything is new and unexpected.
I wanted a girl first too. But...I do have to say that I am so happy my little girl has older brothers that adore her so much. I do know that what ever you have....
You won't want it any other way.

I just love ultrasounds! That is funny that your due date is March 10th, because that was Cam's as well. I hope you make it closer to the date than I did though! I can't wait for some more pictures!

Congrats again! Very cool to get an ultrasound this early. Wes and I are too impatient to wait until the birth to find out what we're having so we've already found out. I have no guesses for you either. Out of the six people I know pregnant right now, everyone is getting what they already have, including us. I must say though, of course I one day want a little girl to dress up, and have take dance lessons, etc. but I haven't felt like I've missed out on anything with Cameron, and the way he idolizes and connects with his dad is truly amazing. I know you'll be happy and love whatever you get!
