Jack Robert Johnson

Look at this kid! Can you believe he was born just last night? He looks so big, I cannot believe it. From this angle, he looks more mcneil-y to me than he did before, but judging by the pictures from last night he is a total johnson. We'll see!

We actually went down for the birth, but she didn't have him until 3 hours after we had to leave to go back home. I had a kinesiology test this morning at 7 and Noah had a flight at 7. It's a good thing we came back, because after his flight he found out he would be going to Idaho for his Private Pilot License check ride with the FAA!

He is in Idaho now, staying with Tim's sister Jan. He said they are so so nice and hospitable and that she's planning on waking up early to make him breakfast before his big test! Lary was kind enough to offer to drive him up there so he could a-not be so lonely and b-have 5 good hours of studying for the (2 hour) oral examination he will be given before the flight portion of his check ride. That really saved him, and I just want to say thanks to Tim's sister and Lary for taking care of my hubby while I am stuck here with school!

Oh Giselle, We will have to take a rode trip as soon as you get back to see little Jack!I want to hold him and kiss him and comb his hair!A poosty would look good on that kid! Yes Tim's sister Jan is a very very nice person. I love her! Noah will also come back squeaky clean because she is also the cleanest person that I know as well. I hope that it made Noah ready for his test to have a breakfast of champs!

Hey, where did you get that picture? It is really cute of him, but I know you didn't take it. Jan is such a good person -- it feels like she is one of our own family and I think this blogging helps us all feel close, whether it is a McNeil, a Butikofer, a Johnson, a Winterton, a Richards, a Gines, or friends that I do not even know, I begin to know and love the closeness I feel to each of you through our comments and love we share. Good luck Noah! I hope all will turn out well and I KNOW that Jan will take good care of you!

Thank you so much for coming down while I was in labor. I am so sad that you guys had to leave before Jack was born, but that just means you have to come and stay for a while with us! I love you both so much and am so grateful for my wonderful family. I hope Noah did well on his test! Love you lots!

Just a quick update, Noah survived the grueling 2 hour Oral examination on FAA regulations and Emergency procedures (unlike the guy being tested before him) but was unable to fly due to high winds in Boise! He will do doing part 3 of his 3-part exam (the flight) sometime around the 19th...so keep him in your thoughts!

Way to go Noah! Congratulations on your success! We knew you could do it!

Good job Noah. I'm sure you will do well on your final stage. Also, if you read this comment Billie Jo, can you please change your blog to allow non-blogger comments. Yes, I was very mad after typing a huge comment to not be able to post it.
