1. I hate to clean. It's not so much the actual cleaning part...that I don't mind so much. It's just the getting started part. I will come up with any excuse in the book to put off cleaning...
2. I am a horrible procrastinator...especially when it comes to school. I'm quite positive that I've never ever completed any homework or project early. In fact, I almost always start the project around 10 pm the night before it's due. Noah hates this, because he knows he'll be sleeping alone until 2 or 3 am when I finish...BUT, you can't teach an old dog new tricks! I've been doing it this way since high school, and I've learned that I do my best thinking around midnight at crunch time.
3. I have a dream to be a jack of all trades! I love dance and teach dance, but I also have a secret wish to be a Hair Stylist, a Massage Therapist, and a Costume Designer. Plus, I want to learn how to make bows/headbands so that if I have little girls they will be totally stylin!
4. I pretend that my niece, Tess, looks just like me. The truth is, she looks more like me than the others, but she's much prettier than I was. You have to admit, though, these two pictures COULD be of the same child from different angles... We both get that tan, too!
5. I had a cyst when a was little, and have a fine scar on my eyelid from getting it removed. Until I had knee surgery in high school, the only stitches I had were both on my eyes--one from removing the cyst and one from falling off a swing, maybe??? (that scar goes right through my eyebrow!)
6. I LOVE to read. Novels...and especially books in a series! I love Harry Potter, the Twilight series, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series, and lots of others! I also enjoyed Snowflower and the Secret Fan (recommended by Anissa--thank you!) and right now I am reading The Alchemist on Noah's recommendation...
7. I am considering going back to my lighter, blonder look. We're supposed to go as blonde as possible (aiming for platinum) for Blackpool, but that's a no-go for me, of course! I prefer my hair dark anyway. But for those of us who don't go platinum, we have to spray our hair, which is like a total helmet, and looks ridiculous! Anyway, I'm thinking of just going semi-lighter so that the spraying won't look so ridiculous. What do you think? Oh, and I almost forgot - I tag...Patrice!

Your hair looks good no matter what! You and Tess do look alike. I hope she is as great as a dancer, person, friend, sister as you are!!!!
that is the cutest picture of you I have seen. At first glance I thought it was Ellie holding Tess. I think it would be fun to see you with lighter hair. I am glad you aren't going platinum. I am glad you liked Snow Flower. Love, Anissa
I have had quite an internet break since I have been otherwise engaged, so I haven't seen your blog or known much about what has been going on with you guys for a while. I loved all the new posts. I can't wait to see you more now that we are here (I mean at least until you move south).
How could you??? When you and I have worked together on projects, you are VERY organized and timely! How could you let that procrastination gene come through? It totally makes stress in your life and saying you think better at midnight is honestly you just telling yourself that to justify the procrastination! It is very stressful on your mate, so I can relate to Noah! Now that you know you do it, STOP!!!! The picture of you and Tess are almost identical!!!! Both so cute!!! The hair--you could totally pull it off! That is the fun thing about hair, though, is that you can do anything you want. This is temporary, so if you don't like it, you can always change back to darker after Blackpool. Start going a little lighter step by step so it won't be a shock! Cute tag and I will be checking out Patrice so I might find out some interesting things about her too!
Hi Noah and Giselle! This is Derrick. I just figured out a little bit about this blogging stuff and saw you posted when Autumn was saying I got Lasik. I agree, the glasses definitely made me appreciate what Lasik does. I cannot believe how incredible my vision is now. I have had 4 appointments since it was done on Jan 8th and I am still at 20/10. It's like having HD vision:) . It's good to hear from you guys though. Feel free to cross our swamp divide between our places and visit us anytime.
Wonderful answers! I am excited if you do become a cosmetologist, then I can get my hair done by you all the time! I am always a fan of going dark and light, as demonstrated by my constant change in hair color. I am afraid that we will always be procrastinators. Its a part of us and we will never be able to overcome it. As a matter of fact, I am just getting ready to get started on some baby shower invitations that I have to take to work tomorrow!
Giselly,
you were an adorable baby and yes, Tess could be your little twin. You know that I always think you can wear whatever you want, have your hair whatever color you want, and do pretty much anything you want. You are THE fashion girl. So, whatever color you decide to do will look great.
I hope you are feeling better. I really worry about you. And I want you to go to the hospital. I hope you are not sick because of your procrastination gene.
Our children have no hope not to get the procrastination gene. Allen and I both have it. However, I just go to bed now because I am getting too old to have that habit. I bet Allen will be making our child's crib when I am in the hospital with our new baby.
There is just one problem with the tag. The blog is kind of Allen's and I mess it up every time I try to blog stuff. (I try to put a picture on and it takes up the entire page...) So if I can figure out how to use technology, I will try to respond to the tag. I need a blogging tutorial or something.
Just an example of my horrible procrastination... it's 10:35 and I am just STARTING a paper for tomorrow morning and making up 2 exercises that demonstrate correction of the problem my paper is about...yikes. Noah's going to be sad when he finds out!
Arrgghhh-Giselle! Although I will give you a bit of a break, knowing you were up here teaching dance until 9:00 and it's an hour drive home!
I did tag both of you, so Noah where are your 7 facts?!
I know, Anissa...I told Noah he needs to do it!
Hey Giselle, I loved your tag!! I also have to thank you for your comments on my blog. I really appriciate hearing from you and so thank you. I have not kept up in the blogging world lately and did not realize everything you have been doing lately, You have been busy girl. I hope you are felling better but I have to say I think I know why you procrastinate... you are so busy. So it sounds like a lot is going on for you two and I hope all goes well with everything. I don't know if you can fit moving in, you might just have to stay here!
Oh I forgot I remember the day that picture was taken of you when you were little. You were such a cute little girl! I remember the day you had your cyst taken out too. I actually remember a lot about you as a child and I really do not know when you grew up, really you should still be little Giselle.
I personally like your hair lighter. I think it looks fresh and ready for Spring/Summer.
I don't have a lot of time to make bows anymore...I am thinking about teaching some classes...I will let you know if I do.
Kati
