Crazy morning!

I had to share this experience with everyone! Last night Giselle and I went to be at a pretty normal time and I was probably asleep by 11:15 at the latest. I have been normally waking up at 8 the past few days and since I had goon to bed before midnight, I assumed that I would do the same today. Early this morning though something happened: I remember Giselle's alarm going off at 7 or so and I remember her waking up. I also remember feeling really tired and groggy and I could hear it in my voice as I said goodbye to her. This was around 7:30 or so. I fell back asleep and I remember thinking to myself as I was falling back asleep "Man, why am I so tired!" I felt like I was slowly being given a drug or poison that was knocking me out. Before I knew it, I was sound asleep again.
I would normally be awake without an alarm by 8 but today I was passed out till about 8:50 and I woke up to a strange sensation...I felt as though I had been drugged or poisoned. I couldn't open my eyes and I could hardly move my body. Everything was slightly tingly and I fell back asleep. I woke up again around 9:10 and I had these same feelings accompanied by an extremely dry mouth. I felt like my tongue was stuck to the roof of my mouth. I slowly rolled over and squinting I was able to see my watch and that's how I knew what time it was but I couldn't fully open my eyes and I started to get scared. I was awake enough to know that something was wrong but I was so tired that I couldn't sit up or open my eyes and my nose was so stuffed that all the breathing through my mouth had caused a dryness more severe than I had ever experienced.
As I slowly began to wake up and open my eyes, I had so many thoughts running through my head. I tried to remember if I had taken any kind of medicine the night before but I knew that I hadn't. I thought that maybe the food I ordered at "Sonic" was somehow poisoned. I was convinced that somehow I had been drugged with sleeping medicine even though I have never really experienced any of these things before, I felt like I could compare my current state to what I should be feeling in one of those states.
After a good 10 min of being awake and thinking of scenarios I had a thought come to my mind. I thought to myself: "Poor Nik, he wakes up with a dry mouth everyday." Ever since he broke his nose (combination of tile floor with water and soap = lot's of fun for 13 year old's Nik and Noah = sudden fall & Injury) he has struggled with breathing out of it and therefore breathes out of his mouth when he sleeps. While I was thinking of him, I remembered that he was scheduled to have an operation today to fix it. He was going to be completely under for the procedure and it dawned on me that I must have been feeling what he was going through. I hurried over to my phone and with my still groggy voice called my dad, who was with Nik. I was surprised to find out that Nik had just come out of the surgury about 30 min before and was still sound asleep while the doctors where waiting for him to slowly wake up from the anesthetics they gave him. That's when I realized why I was feeling what I felt. The timing was perfect for synchronizing my experience with his and while this is not the first time something like this has happened to me while something was happening to him it was probably the strongest!
I am happy to say that I feel completely normal now and I can once again breath out of my nose and I'm completely awake but I'm convinced we had one of those mysterious "twin moments" and I was able to experience a glimpse of what he was going through. Crazy story huh!!! I guess I shouldn't be too surprised given the fact that we are so close to each other and I have had experiences similar to this in the past but for a while there I was down right scared!

Well, I just got off the phone with Nik, he's awake and recovering from the surgery and he told me about a weird dream he had while he was under. In his dream I had gone through the same thing as he did and he was explaining to the doctors, who were baffled that I was still passed out without having had the surgery, that this sort of thing was normal with twins and that we had experienced something like this in the past. So when he woke up he already knew that I had experienced the surgery because he had a dream about it while in surgery! Crazy, crazy, crazy!!!

Weird!!!! At the first of the post, I kept reading more quickly to see what had happened. The first time I met Max and found out he was a twin, I asked him if he had these kinds of experiences. It is very interesting to hear about something like that and know that it truly happens. Well, that was certainly less costly anesthetic than Nik's -- I'm sure!

That is quite a crazy story! How weird it would be to be a twin! I was really worried about who had drugged you, until I read further! Glad you're both doing okay!

Noah,
I thought you were just starting to write the first chapter of a suspense novel. WOW! I have heard of these type of things with twins but I never really thought much about it!

Perhaps you should ask Nik to go on a nice vacation so your body can recuperate.

It is so nice to have other twins in the family. Wacey and Weylin always have weird things like that happen to them and I never believed Wacey. OOPS

Noah,
I find it facinating. I have been reading several books and have watched programs on quantum mechanics and string theory and how the universe may hold many more dimesions than just the 3 (or 4, counting time as a dimension)that we experience with our normal sences. Some of the wilder predictions that are coming out of these studies are that there may be parallel worlds that exist right next to ours that utilize these extra dimensions, and that we can actually train our brains to receive impressions that may be coming from these other "worlds". Some other studies have also suggested that our thoughts can influence the inanimate world around us, causing the very atoms of some substances to change their structure. I have often heard of expreiences such as yours (along with many other paranormal events) and I believe that we could all experience more of these if we could just learn how. If you have had other experiences like these, I would love to talk to you about them. How cool for you to be able to know that there are "things" out there that we can't underdstand yet you know that they are real.

Noah, that is amazing! Being a twin must be the best ever. I was really worried about you at first, I'm glad you are ok!

When I woke up from the anesthetic and began realizing everything I had a memory of talking to the doctor about Noah. In my dream like state I am almost sure I explained to the doctor that Noah was experiencing similar affects due to his being my twin. I remember telling the doctor that this sort of thing has even happened in the past.
Later when I talked to Anissa she told me I had to call Noah to hear about a "experience" he had. I remember telling her that I already knew what he was going to say because I saw it happen. When I spoke to Noah and he told me it was the craziest thing to know already and have real memories of seeing it and explaining it to the doctor who was wondering why Noah was going through that.
Of course I never really had that conversation with the doctor.... but it truly is amazing to know I have such a strong relationship with someone else on this Earth that we can communicate in unknown levels somehow.

I felt like I was reading something from the twilight zone as I read your post and then Nik's response. That must be strange and fun to have a connection like that. As I was reading I kept thinking that you were going to realize you were alergic to something you ate at Sonic, sesame seeds maybe.
